As an intern, you'll have the chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge in areas such as media relations, content creation, event planning, and more. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other exciting projects!
3-MONTH INTERNSHIP
- Can be used towards school credit
The Public Relations Internship position is responsible for:
- Manage all inbound influencer and creator emails, requests, and follow-ups
- Conduct daily social media scanning and monitoring across relevant platforms
- Manage community engagement, including comments, DMs, tags, mentions, and inquiries
- Manage Rose PR’s social media channels, including content coordination, scheduling, and posting
- Maintain all product inventory, ensuring stock is organized and accurately tracked
- Manage all influencer and media product send-outs, including packing boxes, shipping labels, couriers, tracking, and record keeping
- Maintain and update influencer and media databases, including contact information and mailing addresses
- Build and update targeted media and influencer lists for client campaigns, launches, events, and product seeding
- Monitor media coverage, influencer mentions, social posts, and campaign activity
- Maintain campaign trackers, coverage reports, seeding lists, and other client documents
- Support media pitching and follow-ups under the direction of Account Managers
- Draft PR materials, including pitches, media alerts, briefing documents, and influencer communications
- Coordinate product requests from media, influencers, and clients
- Support the planning and execution of PR events, launches, activations, and influencer experiences
- Provide on-site event support, including guest check-in, media/influencer management, gifting, and event logistics
- Conduct research into media, influencers, social trends, competitors, and relevant cultural moments
- Maintain organized client folders, trackers, databases, and internal documentation
- Assist with general agency and administrative tasks as required
Key Requirements:
- Must be fully bilingual (ENG and FR)
- High levels of communication - both presentation, verbal and written skills
- High level of attention to detail and effective organization skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Impressive interpersonal expertise
- A passion for public relations, media, including social media
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation
- Strong creative writing skills
- Social media knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Dropbox, and Google Drive
- Availability 5 days a week (9am to 5pm)
- Availability for off-hour media launches
- Currently studying or has studied PR, Marketing, and/or Communications
- Must have completed or is in process of completing a bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a 3 or 4-year college or University
Full-time & In-office (5 days a week)
Standard hours are generally Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
