About RotorLink
RotorLink Technical Services is a growing aviation company specializing in helicopter parts sales, aircraft components, sourcing, logistics, aircraft transactions, and technical support for operators, MROs, brokers, and aircraft owners around the world.
We work primarily with Bell, Airbus/Eurocopter, and Leonardo/AgustaWestland helicopter platforms and specialize in sourcing and supplying both common and hard-to-find components.
RotorLink is not an AMO and does not perform maintenance, repair, or overhaul in-house.
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance & Technical Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AME who wants to transition from day-to-day aircraft maintenance into a broader technical and commercial aviation role.
The successful candidate will use their maintenance experience and technical knowledge to evaluate helicopter components and aircraft, review maintenance records and documentation, and provide technical guidance to the RotorLink team and customers.
An active AME license is not required for this position, as the role does not involve signing maintenance releases or performing certificated maintenance on behalf of RotorLink. However, significant practical AME experience and a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Evaluation & Parts
- Evaluate aircraft components for condition, applicability, usability, and marketability.
- Review component histories, maintenance records, logbooks, removal tags, certificates, and other technical documentation.
- Assess parts and components being purchased, sold, consigned, or acquired through aircraft transactions.
- Identify potential technical, traceability, life-limit, calendar-life, or documentation issues.
- Assist the sales and purchasing teams with technical questions from customers and suppliers.
- Research aircraft and component part numbers, applicability, interchangeability, and technical requirements.
Quality & Documentation
- Support RotorLink's AS9120 quality requirements and internal processes.
- Review technical documentation and traceability for incoming and outgoing parts.
- Assist with identifying discrepancies, non-conformances, and documentation issues.
- Ensure technical information is accurately recorded within company systems.
General
- Provide technical support to sales, purchasing, warehouse teams and management.
- Assist with special projects and aircraft/component transactions as required.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME).
- Experience with Bell, Airbus/Eurocopter, or Leonardo/AgustaWestland helicopters
- Strong practical knowledge of aircraft maintenance and helicopter components.
- Experience interpreting aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of component traceability, serviceability, life limitations, and maintenance history.
- Ability to assess technical information and identify discrepancies or potential concerns.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical assessments.
- Valid driver's license.
License
An active AME license is not required for this position.
Candidates with a current or former Canadian AME license, or equivalent aircraft maintenance experience from another aviation authority, are encouraged to apply.
