Marmot Basin is the northern most Rocky Mountain ski area and enjoys abundant dry, light & fluffy natural snow that is a dream to ski and snowboard. With the highest base elevation in Canada and a latitude of 53° N, our snow falls early, and continues well into May. With over 1,600 acres of skiable terrain along with the addition of three new chairlifts since 2009, lift lines are virtually non-existent; providing families, beginners and experts alike the room to carve turns at their leisure. Marmot Basin is one of the least crowded ski areas of its kind in North America where powder stashes last and the wide open slopes are yours to enjoy.
