Role Description The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This position is responsible for handling inbound sales inquiries, proactively reaching out to existing and potential customers, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing quotations, processing orders, updating customer records, and coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. The role involves maintaining regular communication with accounts, following up on leads, resolving customer issues, and supporting overall sales goals. The Inside Sales Representative contributes directly to customer satisfaction and revenue growth through responsive service and informed product guidance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Inside Sales experience with a focus on building relationships and closing opportunities
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, including active listening and problem-solving
- Experience in Lead Generation and prospecting to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Proficiency in Account Management, including maintaining records, tracking activity, and growing existing accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Comfort with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, order entry platforms)
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations, warehouse, and external sales teams in an on-site environment
- Knowledge of industrial or fluid power products is an asset, with willingness to learn product lines
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
