Russell Tobin is actively recruiting experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Ambulatory Care for a travel contract opportunity in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. We are seeking compassionate and skilled nursing professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient and ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care environment.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitoring, and ongoing evaluations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient safety standards.
- Support efficient clinic operations while promoting positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum recent experience in Ambulatory Care, Outpatient Care, or Acute Care Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS Certification (required).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Position Details
- Assignment Dates: September 7, 2026 – December 31, 2026
- Schedule: Full-time hours (80 Biweekly) as per operational needs of the facility
- Shifts: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM
- Location: Prince Rupert, BC
- Compensation: : CAD $50-$62 per Hour (Based on Experience and Location)
