Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments as assigned
- Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited program
- Active BCCNM registration as an LPN or eligibility to practice in British Columbia
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTC, Acute Care, or Operating Room experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse healthcare settings
Benefits & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $39–$50 CAD per hour
- Travel: Fully covered for approved travel expenses
- Accommodation: Fully provided or reimbursed
- Contract Length: 4–13 weeks with extension opportunities
- Overtime & Premium Pay: OT, DT, travel time compensation, and statutory holiday pay as applicable
- Scheduling: Day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts based on facility requirements
