Salary: $46 to $54 per hour
Schedule: Rotational shifts including Days, Nights, and Weekends (8-hour and 12-hour shifts). Work schedules may be modified to meet operational requirements.
Language Requirement: Bilingual Essential (French and English)
- Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Respond rapidly to emergency and critical care situations.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
- Promote patient safety while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Required Qualifications: Education and Registration: Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and membership in good standing with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick (CNB).
- At least one (1) year of relevant clinical nursing experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
- Required Certifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
- Course in Cardiac Arrhythmia.
- Critical Care Certificate with a focus on Emergency Nursing or equivalent.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification.
- Language Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Experience and Skills: Experience working in emergency, critical care, trauma, or acute care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
