Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – All Units
Position Summary:
Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel contract opportunities across British Columbia. We have opportunities available across multiple clinical units and specialties, including Medical-Surgical, Emergency, ICU, Mental Health/Psychiatry, Long-Term Care, Operating Room, Community Health, Oncology, Labour & Delivery, and more.
Travel RNs will provide safe, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams. These assignments offer an opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience while working in healthcare facilities across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care within the assigned unit.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions within RN scope of practice.
- Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments as required.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and health management.
- Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and professional nursing standards.
- Adapt to different healthcare environments, patient populations, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in British Columbia (BCCNM).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Recent clinical experience in one or more relevant nursing specialties.
- Experience in Medical-Surgical, Emergency, ICU, Mental Health/Psychiatry, LTC, OR, Community, Oncology, Labour & Delivery, or other acute/specialty units is an asset.
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.
- Experience with medication administration, treatments, procedures, and patient education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and professional nursing standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Schedule & Shifts: Full-time hours; Day, Evening, and Night shifts based on facility requirements.
