About the Role
Sabre is seeking a Procurement Specialist who will play a key role in supporting projects from award through completion by managing the full procurement lifecycle. Working closely with estimating, design, project management, and suppliers, you will ensure materials and equipment are sourced competitively, procured efficiently, and delivered on schedule to support successful project execution.
This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels at building supplier relationships, coordinating across teams, mitigating supply chain risks, and maintaining clear visibility into procurement activities to keep projects moving forward.

What You'll Do
- Review project BOMs and specifications to prepare and issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Source materials and equipment, issue purchase orders, and manage procurement activities from award through delivery.
- Track supplier commitments, monitor lead times, and expedite orders to ensure project schedules are maintained.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, manage changes, and provide procurement status updates.
- Maintain procurement records, track BOM-to-PO progress, and contribute to reporting and process improvements, including future ERP implementation.
- Assist with long-lead and stocking strategies, and ensure procurement complies with approval authorities and supplier programs. Support estimating by providing pricing, lead-time, and supplier feedback to improve project planning and execution.
- Build strong supplier relationships and support supplier qualification, second-sourcing, and site visits.
What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying supply chain risks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing procurement documentation and order tracking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP or procurement system experience is an asset.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to supporting successful project delivery.
