We are looking for a 2D Character Concept Artist to help establish the character style for an upcoming 2D animated project. The artist will work closely with the Art Director, exploring characters, poses and design directions and helping define a cohesive visual approach for the project.
Project
The project is a sports documentary. Animated segments will appear alongside archival material, recreating, or complementing historical moments through short animated sequences.
The characters are primarily professional athletes, so a strong understanding of anatomy, movement and physicality is important.
The visual direction will combine realism and stylization, with expressive drawing, dynamic posing and a strong 2D artistic feel
