About the Opportunity
As an Agrologist, you’ll play a key role in shaping fair and accurate property assessments for the Weyburn Region. This full-time role offers a unique balance of fieldwork and office-based analysis, giving you the chance to see projects through from first inspection to final valuation.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply recognized valuation approaches to determine the assessed value of the properties;
  • Input valuation data into the Agency's mass appraisal computer system;
  • Research and respond to enquiries from ratepayers and municipal administration.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings both an aptitude for technical knowledge and strong people skills to the role. The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan or other recognized university with a major in Soil Sciences, Agronomy, or Agricultural Economics.

  • Valid class five (5) driver’s licence.

Both a cover letter and resume will be used in the screening process. Candidates under consideration may be required to participate in a numeracy, mathematical, and/or computer proficiency assessment to determine position suitability.

For external candidates, employment with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
