Responsibilities
- Assist in the erect, modify, and dismantle of scaffolding structures, swing stages, or mast climbing work platforms according to project specifications
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate scaffolding requirements
- Load and unload scaffolding materials and equipment
- Participate in on-the-job training and safety courses provided, where applicable
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required; training will be provided by the Local Union
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights
- Basic understanding of safety protocols (on-the-job training to be provided)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to various job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of construction principles
- Experience in manual labour or outdoor work
