As such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
The 3D Printing & Clinical Engineering Manager provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership for the Clinical Technology Innovation (CTI) Program, with a specific focus on clinical engineering and rehabilitation technology roles supporting 3D printing and point-of-care medical device innovation at Children’s & Women’s sites.
Reporting to the Director, Motion Lab & Clinical Technology, this role is accountable for leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, rehabilitation technologists, and technical specialists responsible for the design, development, validation, implementation, and lifecycle management of 3D-printed devices, custom rehabilitation solutions, and innovative clinical technologies. The Manager works closely with internal and external clinical programs, digital partners, and innovation stakeholders to negotiate and facilitate consensus on clinical requirements, priorities, and implementation approaches and to translate clinical needs into safe, effective, and scalable technology solutions
The position encompasses leadership across innovation delivery, workforce development, project and financial management, risk and quality oversight, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory standards, and emerging best practices in clinical engineering and medical device innovation.
Duties/Accountabilities
