Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Java/JavaScript) to join the Risk and Information Management team supporting Non-Financial Risk Management applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade multi-tier Java applications and modern web-based user interfaces.
The role requires collaboration within a global Agile environment to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while leveraging modern development practices, including AI-assisted software development tools. This is an excellent opportunity to work on mission-critical applications, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the modernization of risk management platforms.
Day-to-Day Job Duties
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions supporting Non-Financial Risk Management platforms.
Develop and maintain RESTful Web Services, distributed systems, and microservices-based applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and global development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code review sessions to ensure development of best practices and coding standards.
Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Agent Mode, and other coding assistants to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated test cases to maintain application quality and reliability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and project status reporting.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and adoption of development best practices across teams.
Adapt to evolving business, technology, and regulatory requirements while ensuring timely project delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with strong expertise in enterprise Java applications.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Core Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful Web Services.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
Minimum 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Experience utilizing AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and other Generative AI development tools.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, object-oriented design principles, and application performance optimization.
Experience writing comprehensive unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum development teams and collaborate with geographically distributed stakeholders.
Understanding business requirements and ability to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.
Degree
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Nice To Have
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment processes.
Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and application performance management tools.
Understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development.
Experience with Jira or other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
Basic Linux administration and Shell scripting knowledge.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Prior experience working within Financial Services, Risk Management, or Regulatory Technology environments.
Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives
