We're looking for a junior data engineer to support the build-out of data pipelines and warehousing solutions that power Sarmaya's enterprise systems and explainable AI layer.
What You'll Do
- Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Support data quality checks and basic monitoring
- Help document data models and pipeline logic
- Learn Sarmaya's data governance and cataloging standards
- Support troubleshooting of pipeline failures under guidance
What We're Looking For
- 0–1.5 years of experience with SQL and at least one pipeline tool (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Willingness to learn cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Detail-oriented, careful with data accuracy and pipeline logic
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python for data processing
- Basic understanding of data governance/compliance concepts
