Blenders Events is seeking an enthusiastic, organized Sponsorship Coordinator to help build strong sponsorships and partnerships, for Long Day’s Night and the SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival.
This is a collaborative, community-facing role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, staying organized, and helping events run smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
Sponsorship & Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with cash and in-kind sponsors.
- Deliver sponsorship packages, follow up with prospective sponsors, and support sponsor agreements.
- Coordinate sponsorship invoicing, logo collection, recognition, benefits, banners, and thank-you reporting.
- Help meet sponsorship goals by the end of March 2027.
You May Be a Great Fit If You Have:
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Confidence with outreach, sponsorship requests, public speaking, and community engagement.
- A collaborative, positive, flexible approach.
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with a team.
Experience with Excel, Google Drive, and event coordination.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence, access to a vehicle, and access to a computer.
- Knowledge of Windscape, Blenders Events, or community arts organizations is an asset.
Compensation
- $8,000 guaranteed total
- Up to 400 hours of sponsorship work at $20/hour ($8,000)
- Plus 2% commission on financial sponsorships secured, with no cap.
- The role is expected to begin in mid-October 2026 and be completed by April 1, 2027.
