Estimator Coordinator
Electrical Construction | Residential High Rise

Our client, an established electrical contractor with an extensive history in residential high rise construction, is seeking an Estimator Coordinator to support its estimating and project teams.
The company delivers electrical work on condominium, apartment and mixed use developments across the GTA, alongside projects in other building sectors. This opportunity combines electrical estimating with the coordination of pricing, tender information and project changes.
The role would suit someone with electrical estimating experience or a practical electrical background who is looking to build a career in an office environment. Site experience, electrical apprenticeship training or a 309A designation would be strong advantages.
Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify project scope and pricing requirements.
- Complete quantity takeoffs and assist with material, equipment and labour estimates.
- Request supplier and subcontractor quotations, compare pricing and follow up on outstanding information.
- Organize tender documents, drawing revisions, addenda and bid deadlines.
- Help identify scope gaps, exclusions and items requiring clarification.
- Assist with pricing extras, revisions and change orders.
- Maintain estimating records, quotation logs and supporting cost information.
- Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to confirm installation requirements and support project handovers.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical estimating, construction coordination or a related electrical role.
- Residential high rise electrical construction experience is strongly preferred.
- Electrical site experience, apprenticeship training or a 309A electrician designation would be strong assets.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and understand materials, installation methods and terminology.
- Experience with Accubid or similar electrical estimating software is an asset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and maintaining accurate pricing and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Education in electrical engineering technology, construction management or a related discipline is beneficial. Relevant trade experience will also be considered.

Compensation Transparency
The expected compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
