Seasons Catering Ltd. is looking for professional, friendly, and experienced Event Servers / Bartenders to join our on-call catering team.
We cater corporate events, private functions, weddings, receptions, and special events throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
The Role
As an Event Server / Bartender, you will help deliver a polished and professional experience for our clients and their guests. Events vary from intimate private functions to large corporate receptions.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests
- Serve appetizers, meals, wine, beer, and other beverages
- Bartend and prepare basic mixed drinks
- Set up and maintain bars and service stations
- Assist with event setup and teardown
- Clear tables, dishes, glassware, and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service area
- Work closely with the catering captain, chef, and event team
- Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Represent Seasons Catering professionally at client venues
Qualifications
- Previous catering, banquet, restaurant serving, or bartending experience
- Serving It Right certification required for alcohol service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move catering equipment as required
- Evening and weekend availability
- Ability to travel to different event venues throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
Compensation & Schedule
$30/hour
On-call / casual position with shifts based on our event schedule.
Most events take place during late afternoon & evenings, although early daytime events are also available.
