Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and leading a team in delivering an exceptional cannabis retail experience. This role includes managing staff scheduling and performance, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining high standards of customer service and product knowledge. The Store Manager will monitor inventory, coordinate merchandising, and implement retail loss prevention practices to protect assets. They will drive store performance through sales tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused environment. The position also involves coaching team members, resolving customer concerns, and upholding Seed & Stone’s commitment to wellness, education, and responsible cannabis use.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, informative experiences.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, coach team members, and collaborate with leadership.
- Candidates should possess Store Management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day retail operations.
- Candidates should possess Retail Loss Prevention knowledge to support inventory control, compliance, and risk reduction.
- Previous retail or cannabis industry experience, especially in a supervisory or management role, is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Canada and meet all legal requirements for employment in a cannabis retail environment, including meeting minimum age requirements as defined by applicable law.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with point-of-sale and inventory systems are advantageous.
