Investor Relations | APAC (Quant / Crypto Fund)
About the Role
A fast-growing quantitative investment firm is seeking an Investor Relations professional to drive fundraising and investor coverage across the Asia-Pacific region.
This role combines capital raising, LP relationship management, and product communication, requiring strong investor access alongside a solid understanding of quantitative and crypto strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Capital Raising
- Lead fundraising efforts across APAC, targeting HNWI, family offices, and institutional investors
- Develop and execute tailored strategies to drive capital inflows
Investor Coverage & Relationship Management
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing LPs through regular communication and engagement
- Support investor onboarding and allocation processes through structured, professional interactions
Product & Strategy Communication
- Clearly present quantitative investment strategies, risk frameworks, and performance attribution
- Address investor inquiries with strong technical and market context
Reporting & Materials
- Prepare investor reports and marketing materials, including performance updates and strategy insights
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality communication
Ecosystem & Business Development
- Build relationships with exchanges, counterparties, and industry partners
- Support broader business development initiatives and partnership efforts
Firm Representation
- Participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and market development activities alongside senior management
Requirements
Investor Network
- Established relationships with HNWI, family offices, or institutional LPs, with the ability to support fundraising
Strategy Understanding
- Strong understanding of quantitative trading strategies (e.g., market-neutral, arbitrage, systematic strategies)
- Ability to translate complex strategies into clear, investor-friendly messaging
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Experience preparing investor materials and performance reports
- Strong financial analysis and communication skills
Languages
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate across APAC markets
