Role Description The Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for overseeing daily store operations to ensure a seamless client and team experience. This role manages inventory flow, stock replenishment, and back-of-house organization to support product availability and visual merchandising standards. The Operations Lead monitors operational processes such as shipment receiving, loss prevention, cash handling, and compliance with company policies and safety procedures. They coordinate scheduling and workload priorities, partner with store leadership to optimize productivity, and provide guidance to team members on operational best practices. The role also involves using data and reporting to identify process improvements, supporting training on operational tasks, and contributing to a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including experience overseeing store or retail operations, workflow planning, and process improvement.
- Inventory and stock management skills, such as shipment receiving, stockroom organization, replenishment, and loss prevention awareness.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and people-management skills, including coaching, delegation, performance feedback, and support of an inclusive team culture.
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to collaborate with client-facing teams to support excellent service and store presentation standards.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and operational reporting tools; comfort working with basic data and metrics to guide decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with store leadership, cross-functional partners, and team members.
- Previous experience in retail, beauty, or a related consumer environment is preferred; experience in prestige or specialty retail is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, ON, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the store schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field
