Shafik Hirani’s Private Wealth Management Practice at Aligned Capital Partners Inc. is seeking a CIRO Licensed Associate Investment Advisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support portfolio management, investment strategy development, and the delivery of customized financial planning solutions that help clients achieve long-term financial success. As an Associate Investment Advisor, you will work closely with senior advisors, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to a high-performing advisory practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of clients’ financial situations, including assets, liabilities, income, expenses, investment objectives, and long-term goals.
- Support the development and implementation of personalized investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and financial needs.
- Assist with portfolio construction, investment recommendations, and market research.
- Prepare financial plans, portfolio reviews, and client reports.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and support ongoing relationship management.
- Support senior advisor in delivering tailored wealth-management strategies and exceptional client service.
- Ensure adherence to CIRO regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal risk-management procedures.
- Support business development initiatives by strengthening existing client relationships and contributing to future growth opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of investment management, portfolio strategy, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients.
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to financial planning and compliance.
- Experience in wealth management or financial services with a strong client-relationship focus.
- Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, professionals, or business owners.
- Familiarity with portfolio review preparation, financial planning support, and advisory-practice operations.
Required Qualifications
- Active CIRO (IIROC) licensing
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or investment advisory support
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and wealth-management fundamentals
