Description: Family Physician – Sagkeeng First Nation

Sagkeeng Anicinabe Nation
We are currently seeking a culturally sensitive primary care physician to serve part time (2-3 days per week) on the Sagkeeng First Nation. Sagkeeng is located approximate 1 hour and 20 minutes north of the city of Winnipeg and sits on the shores of the Winnipeg River. We offer a highly competitive compensation model, admin support, mileage and accommodations.
This position will require a team approach, a family approach , and a community approach. We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physician to join the clinic. This multifaceted role combines elements of primary care, community health, chronic disease management, and geriatric care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to anti-racism and trauma informed care in health care.
