Company Description
ShipSavvy is a Canadian, technology-driven logistics and shipping platform that makes cross-border shipping simple for small and mid-sized businesses. Customers buy discounted labels from major carriers, clear customs through our brokerage services, and connect their stores
through integrations like Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon and ShipStation. We are part of
LogX Group, based in Oakville, and we ship more than 20,000 packages a week.
Role Type
The Product Marketing Manager is a full-time, hybrid (or remote for the right candidate) role based in Mississauga, ON, and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. Salary range is $90,000 - $115,000 per annum.
Role Description
We ship a lot, and customers often don’t hear about it. This role is to make sure they do.
You will own how each product is positioned, launched and sold, and you build the partner and
affiliate programs that bring us new customers. You join a small team: our demand
generation lead runs paid channels and the funnel, our marketing operations lead runs the
CRM, email and automation, and an agency team handles video and web production. You will own Product marketing and partners.
You will
- Launch every release: release notes, in-app messages, emails to the customers it
affects, and a short brief for sales and support
- Own positioning and one-pagers for each product line: cross-border labels, customs
brokerage (Savvy Broker), integrations and API, pickups and drop-off, and our US
platform
- Build sales tools: rate comparisons, customer stories and pitch materials
- Run our partner program: co-branded sign-up pages for partners such as 3PLs and
prep centers, referral partners, and an affiliate program with clear terms and
tracking
- Own our listings and co-marketing on marketplaces, app stores and carrier and
platform partner pages
- Lead the launch messaging for our January release and our US go-to-market
- Report on what works: new active customers and revenue by launch, partner and
program
What you bring
- 4+ years in product marketing, partner marketing or both, in shipping, logistics,
fulfillment or e-commerce software (or a closely related space)
- You have launched products and written the messaging yourself
- You have built or run a partner, referral or affiliate program
- You know how small and mid-sized online sellers choose their shipping and
fulfillment partners
- Hands-on with digital and social: you make your own one-pagers, social posts and
simple graphics in Canva or similar tools
- Clear, simple writing. Our team works across several countries and first languages.
- Comfort with data: CRM, web analytics and campaign reporting
- Nice to have: cross-border or customs experience, and a network in North American
e-commerce
