Role Description The Front Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lloydminster, AB, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the front store area. This role manages merchandising, inventory levels, pricing, and promotional displays to ensure a well-stocked, customer-focused retail environment. The Front Store Manager leads, schedules, and coaches front store team members, supports training, and promotes a safe and inclusive workplace. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring sales performance, handling customer inquiries and concerns, coordinating with pharmacy and corporate teams, and ensuring store standards, policies, and compliance requirements are met. The role also involves contributing to local community engagement and implementing company programs to drive customer satisfaction and store performance.
Qualifications
- Retail operations and store management skills, including merchandising, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Team leadership abilities, such as staff supervision, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues and support a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Basic business and administrative skills, including understanding of sales targets, budgeting, and reporting.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in retail, pharmacy, or grocery environments is an asset.
- Comfort working on-site, including standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is an advantage.
