Role Description The Project Planner/Scheduler – ITS and SCADA Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Windsor Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules for ITS and SCADA system implementation and integration projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project managers and engineering teams, tracking progress against milestones, identifying schedule risks, and proposing mitigation actions. The role involves preparing schedule reports, supporting project control activities, and ensuring alignment between planning documents and field execution. The Project Planner/Scheduler also collaborates with stakeholders to maintain clear communication on timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies, helping to keep projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Strong planning capabilities, including Planning & Scheduling and general Planning skills for complex technical projects.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, assess risks, and support informed decision-making.
- Experience in Project Control, including tracking progress, managing baselines, and supporting cost and schedule performance.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present schedule information clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera or similar) and standard project management tools.
- Knowledge of ITS and SCADA systems or related industrial control and transportation technologies is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Windsor Metropolitan Area and support multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
