Description of the Position
The Manager, Digital Acquisition, is responsible for developing, managing and executing campaigns and always-on programs to support lead generation, donor acquisition and revenue goals. Although the primary focus of the role will be the management of digital channels (social platforms and email marketing), this role will also be responsible for early onboarding of donors into their donor journey and oversight of the Telemarketing channel.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Support the Associate Director, Acquisition Marketing
- Collaborate with external and internal media and creative agencies and partners to develop and manage digital acquisition campaigns
- Oversee media agency to ensure optimal digital performance across all platforms (hold agency accountable to results, learn and apply industry best practices and current digital trends, encourage innovation, ensure sharing of knowledge and insights across agency and internal marketing teams)
- Develop and test new acquisition strategies inclusive of A/B testing
- Collaborate with creative agencies to develop thoughtful and impactful creative assets across all portfolio channels (EM, Digital, TM/SMS)
- Partner with internal Brand team and Patient Ambassador team to coordinate approvals, input and consent related to brand governance and patient image and story use.
- Prepare comprehensive marketing briefs and in-depth post reports
- Develop and manage revenue and expense forecasts (including identifying shortfalls and approaches to overcome them)
- Manage budgets and invoices related to portfolio, ensuring accuracy and efficient spends
- Generate reports, track and analyze acquisition performance
- Manage day-to-day relationships across internal stakeholders and external partners
- Stay on top of best practices, emerging trends and making recommendations of intentional innovation
- Support internal stakeholders on transfer and connection of data transfers from external platforms to internal CRM/data systems.
Qualifications
While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:
- University degree in business, marketing, fundraising or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or non-profit sector with a strong focus on digital programs and campaigns that have driven results
- Proven experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, email, telemarketing/SMS)
- Demonstrated ability to identify strategic business development opportunities and develop/lead such initiatives
- Strong business, data and financial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling experience
- Experience with results tracking, analysis and budget control reporting
- Superior communication skills in addition to well-developed presentation abilities
- Demonstrated experience managing external partners, including creative and media agencies and executional partners
- Knowledge or experience within the not-for-profit sector would be considered an asset

Total Compensation Package
Expected Hiring Salary Range: $82,064.00 – $102,582.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117,970.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Manager, Digital Acquisition.
