The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Luxury Travel Planner with a strong background in custom touring and complex, multi-country itineraries.
Our members travel throughout the world and expect each journey to be thoughtfully designed around their interests, preferences, and pace. A single trip might involve several countries, multiple hotels and villas, private flights and transfers, local guides, exclusive experiences, and detailed daily arrangements.
We are looking for someone who can see the entire journey, connect every moving part, and create an itinerary that feels effortless for the member.
What you’ll do
- Design and manage highly customized trips, from the initial planning conversation through the member’s return home.
- Build complex itineraries across multiple cities, countries, and regions, ensuring each part of the journey flows seamlessly.
- Research and arrange luxury accommodations, private and commercial flights, ground transportation, guides, touring, and experiences.
- Work closely with destination partners and local experts to develop personalized touring programs.
- Create detailed daily itineraries that account for timing, logistics, preferences, and contingencies.
- Research destinations and present thoughtful recommendations for where to go, what to experience, and how best to travel between locations.
- Communicate directly with hotels, destination management companies, guides, transportation providers, and other partners.
- Present clear options, pricing, and availability, ensuring recommendations align with the member’s expectations.
- Confirm and reconfirm every aspect of a trip before departure and coordinate changes during travel.
- Anticipate logistical challenges and resolve disruptions quickly and calmly.
- Maintain accurate records of member preferences, bookings, deadlines, and vendor communications.
- Keep members and internal teams informed throughout the planning process.
- Collaborate with our lifestyle concierge team on dining, events, and other requests that complement a trip.
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience planning luxury international travel, particularly customized touring and complex itineraries.
- Experience coordinating trips across multiple destinations and countries.
- Strong knowledge of luxury hotels, villas, private guides, destination management companies, and transportation.
- A network of trusted destination partners and travel suppliers is highly valued.
- Excellent itinerary-building skills and a strong understanding of how to coordinate timing and logistics across a trip.
- The ability to research unfamiliar destinations and develop informed, compelling recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Clear, polished communication and confidence working directly with members and vendors.
- Strong judgment and the ability to manage multiple complex trips at once.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Comfort using digital tools to manage itineraries, requests, and communications.
What success looks like
Each itinerary is personalized, accurate, and easy for the member to follow. Every transfer, guide, hotel, and experience is coordinated and confirmed. The member feels that their journey has been thoughtfully planned around them and that the details are being managed.
The right person will bring both the creativity to design exceptional journeys and the discipline to execute them.
