The Silani Sweet Cheese tradition of cheese making began 70 years ago in Italy where the original family passion for the art of specialty cheese making was developed. In 1954 this passion and time-honored process and traditions were established in Canada as a privately held Canadian company which it remains today. Situated just north of Toronto, in the township of Schomberg, we continue to create and manufacture with only the finest ingredients to ensure we consistently produce flavorful masterpieces. We source locally and use 100% milk produced by Ontario dairy farmers in all our product offerings. Additionally, we import cheese from around the world to offer our loyal customers a broader range of cheeses to excite their taste buds. At Silani Sweet Cheese we are proud of our commitment to maintaining the traditions of artisan cheese making and will continue to produce family favourite cheese varieties including Mozzarella, Cheddar, Ricotta, Mascarpone and more.
