Silverco Mining Ltd. is a TSX Venture Exchange-listed silver mining company with operations in Mexico. Following the acquisition of Nuevo Silver Inc., the Company owns La Negra, a producing silver mine in Querétaro, Mexico, and Cusi, a development-stage project moving toward commercial production in Chihuahua, Mexico. As Silverco transitions into a multi-asset producer, the Finance team is expanding to support consolidated reporting, cost analysis, internal controls, and public company disclosure requirements under IFRS, TSXV, and British Columbia Securities Commission requirements.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager, Financial Reporting & Consolidation will lead Silverco’s quarterly and annual consolidation and financial reporting process, support monthly cost reporting, and help strengthen finance processes as the Company grows. This role is ideal for a CPA with mining-sector experience who enjoys hands-on reporting, technical accounting, audit coordination, and working closely with both corporate and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mine site reporting packages and communicate regularly with site offices.
- Prepare the quarterly and annual IFRS consolidation, including eliminations, FX translation, and consolidation adjustments.
- Prepare and review key schedules and reconciliations for revenue, inventory, mineral properties, PP&E, ARO, debt, and leases.
- Support financial statement and MD&A preparation through disclosure drafting, financial and operational analysis, and variance commentary.
- Document technical accounting conclusions for matters such as business combinations, AROs, leases, impairment, policy changes, and reporting currency changes.
- Prepare internal monthly financial report and supporting reconciliations.
- Coordinate with external auditors to provide supporting audit documentation.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining a strong internal control environment.
- Mentor junior accounting staff.
- Assist as needed with other ad-hoc projects.
Required Professional Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with 2-3 years of relevant experience with producing mining companies (industry) or at a public accounting firm with mining sector clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with complex consolidations for a multi-currency organization.
- Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize competing demands.
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.

Salary Range
CAD $105,000-$125,000 (annually)
