The Graduate Recruitment and Admissions team at the SFU Beedie School of Business is responsible for managing and executing the comprehensive end-to-end recruitment and admissions cycle for all graduate business programs offered at the university. The team responsibilities include relationship building, review and evaluation of candidates, business development, event planning, marketing and ambassador program management.
About the Role
The Coordinator, Recruitment & Admissions is responsible for leading admission initiatives and services; management of admissions support services; and managing the unit's scholarship and awards budgets and systems, including competition set up, allocation, tracking and processing. The Coordinator, Recruitment & Admissions manages program admissions and provides operational support for designated programs; manages and supports the Student Ambassador & Alumni Ambassador program initiatives; conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses and prepares internal reports and dashboards; plans and manages travel bookings and shipments and manages team expenses and cost projections for tours and events. The role manages the onboarding and ongoing training of admissions support service staff, works in coordination with the Associate Directors for Graduate Programs to ensure cross-team functionality, and cultivates a strong, collaborative working environment with a focus on performance and optimization of processes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline, and three years of related experience in managing the administration/admissions in graduate programs, including experience in process management, planning, project management, or an equivalent combination of education, training.
- Good knowledge of data analysis including: compiling and identifying appropriate data, methods of data analysis, and reporting of results, implications, and recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and strategic and project management skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
