About the Role
Sirius is implementing Epicor Kinetic ERP across its Canadian and U.S. operations. The Agincourt ERP Project will replace legacy systems with one integrated platform spanning Manufacturing and Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Field Services, Finance, and IT. A core focus is strengthening manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing to improve visibility into production costs, variances, pricing, and margins.
We are seeking a Senior ERP Business Analyst to join at an early implementation stage, working directly with business stakeholders and the ERP implementation partner to analyze operations, redesign processes, define requirements, and guide the organization through go-live.
This position requires a strong combination of senior Business Analysis expertise, manufacturing operations experience, ERP implementation experience, and practical manufacturing cost-accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements discovery across Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Field Services, and IT
- Map current- and future-state processes; identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into functional, system, data, and reporting requirements
- Support standard costing and manufacturing cost-accounting design (materials, labour, overhead, cost roll-ups, inventory valuation, variances)
- Perform fit-gap analysis and act as key liaison with the ERP implementation partner
- Facilitate workshops, resolve conflicting requirements, and drive stakeholder consensus
- Develop business cases and support testing, data migration, and deployment activities
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as an ERP Business Analyst, including ERP implementation/transformation projects
- Direct experience implementing or supporting manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing within an ERP
- Strong manufacturing environment background
- Senior-level BA skills: requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, business cases, stakeholder facilitation
- Experience working directly with ERP vendors or implementation partners
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Able and willing to work 100% onsite in Edmonton for the full engagement
ERP Platform Experience
Epicor Kinetic experience preferred but not mandatory. We'll also consider strong manufacturing ERP experience with IFS Cloud, Infor CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine, QAD, Plex, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM, SAP S/4HANA, or comparable platforms, provided manufacturing operations and cost accounting were a significant part of that experience.
