Overview:
Our North Vancouver-based client is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Senior Recruiter to join their team in the office. In this role, you will play a key part in researching, sourcing, screening and selecting qualified candidates, and you will take on increasing client-facing responsibility, including opportunities in business development. The client is hiring urgently, with a start date targeted within the next few weeks.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Research and source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
- Screen resumes and conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients.
- Conduct reference checks for selected candidates.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Support the preparation of job offers and the onboarding process for new hires.
- Contribute to business development by building client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in an agency or search environment.
- Strong research, sourcing and screening skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment techniques and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing client relationships, with business development experience considered a strong asset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort commuting to North Vancouver and working in the office.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $65,000–$95,000, based on experience.
- An additional 6% of salary in lieu of benefits.
