Role Description The Outdoor Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. In this position, the individual will prospect and visit residential and commercial properties, introduce Smiling Lawn’s services, and build relationships with potential and existing clients. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, preparing estimates, following up on leads, and closing contracts that align with customer needs and company standards. The role also involves coordinating with operations teams to ensure accurate service delivery, maintaining detailed records of sales activities in CRM tools, and participating in local marketing or promotional events. The Outdoor Sales Executive is expected to meet sales targets, provide responsive customer service, and represent the brand professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience in field sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably in landscaping, property maintenance, or related services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing appointments, follow-ups, and sales documentation.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking properties of different sizes to conduct site assessments.
- Basic proficiency with CRM software, email, and office productivity tools to track leads and prepare quotes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel within Mississauga and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with operations and management teams.
