Our bakeries continue to incorporate "from scratch" recipes among our product offering, giving our bakers an opportunity to utilize and hone their baking skills daily. - Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
- Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Safeway’s programs
- Use of mixer, commercial oven and donut fryer
- Cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment
- Order writing
- Daily production of baked goods
- Receiving and rotating of baked product
- Filling Bakery showcases
What you bring to the table:
- Previous bakery retail experience
- Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation, policies and practices is an asset
- Post-secondary certification is an asset
- Classification as a registered apprentice or certified journeyman baker is an asset
- Available to workdays, evenings, and weekends
