ABOUT SOFVIE
Sofvie Inc. is a Canadian software company headquartered in Sudbury, Ontario. Built for miners, by miners, Sofvie was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves to go home safely at the end of every shift. When operations run with a high level of operational excellence, safety and quality follow.
Our flagship product, the Sofvie Safe Performance Platform, is built for high-risk industrial operations. Sofvie replaces paper forms, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems with a single source of truth that connects frontline workers with Safety and Operations leaders. Workers get tools that are fast and easy to use in the field, while leaders get the visibility and data they need to identify risk, make better decisions, and improve operational performance.
With deep roots in underground mining, Sofvie is trusted by organizations including Glencore, Hudbay Minerals, Epiroc, Alamos Gold, and McEwen Mining, alongside more than 100 other organizations across North America. We’re also expanding our footprint across construction, energy and utilities, oil and gas, and manufacturing.
We’re a growing team building out our go-to-market function as we scale.
THE ROLE
We're hiring an Implementation & Training Specialist to guide clients through their first steps with Sofvie and set them up for long-term success. You'll be the face of Sofvie during onboarding, helping clients confidently adopt the Sofvie Safe Performance Platform to support safer, more efficient operations.
You'll lead onboarding from initial setup through implementation. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, build tailored training plans, and prepare their teams to use Sofvie effectively. Along the way, you'll work across departments to keep implementations on track, improve processes, and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
We're looking for someone organized, collaborative, and client-focused who enjoys teaching, coordinating projects, and turning client needs into clear actions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead client onboarding: Coordinate and track every onboarding activity, timeline, and deliverable from initial setup through implementation
- Coordinate across departments: Work with every team involved in onboarding to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and finish on time
- Build tailored training plans: Design training around each client's workflows, operational needs, and learning goals
- Train clients, virtually and on-site: Deliver practical, engaging training that helps clients make Sofvie part of their daily operations
- Be the client's go-to contact: Communicate clearly, answer questions, and meet client needs while keeping scope and timelines aligned
- Share what you learn: Pass client feedback and implementation insights to internal teams to improve the product
- Train our own team: Build internal product knowledge so every employee can support clients and deliver a consistent experience
This is an on-site role based at our Sudbury office, with occasional travel to client sites for on-site training and implementation.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Coachable and open to direct feedback, with a drive to keep improving
- Curious about our clients, their operations, and the challenges they face
- Adaptable and ready to work at a growing company
- Organized and disciplined, with strong communication and follow-through
- Training experience is an asset, but not required
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with SaaS products
- Experience in mining, Safety/EHS, or other industrial environments
- Train the Trainer certification and experience
WHY SOFVIE
- Your work keeps people safe: Every rollout you lead puts tools in the hands of the workers who need them most, on some of the most demanding job sites.
- Be the reason clients succeed: You'll be the first real experience every client has with Sofvie, and you'll have a direct impact in their long-term adoption and success.
- Build it, don't inherit it: Help shape how Sofvie onboards and trains every client, and set the standard others will follow as the team grows.
- Real ownership, visible impact: Join a growing team where your ideas turn into action quickly and your wins don't go unnoticed.
