Solution Control Systems designs, builds and wires custom electrical equipment in Edmonton, Alberta, and has since 2007.
What we build: LV and MV switchgear, switchboards (UL 891 / CSA C22.2 No. 244 & No. 31), motor control centres, control and PLC panels, VFD packages, bus duct and busway boxes, generator connection boxes, relay and protection panels, junction boxes, instrument skids and electrical buildings. We also build hazardous-location panels: explosion proof, purge, intrinsically safe and increased-safety.
Who we build for: data centres, oil & gas, utilities, mining, water and wastewater, manufacturing, HVAC, forestry, agriculture and commercial.
Why customers come back: Design, fabrication, welding, wiring and testing all happen under one roof. Our standard modular switchboard designs, with the major parts in stock, give 4–6-week lead times. When the schedule is tight, we can ship structures ahead so cable can be pulled before the breakers arrive.
We also supply loose VFDs, soft starters, reactors, dV/dt and harmonic filters, compact PLCs and enclosures.
Our sister company, Control Innovations Inc., serves customers from Calgary, so we cover both ends of Alberta.
