Key Responsibilities
Strategic Healthcare Professional Engagement
- Develop and lead engagement strategies focused on retail pharmacy partners and key healthcare professional audiences.
- Drive the integration of health and wellness solutions into pharmacist-led patient care initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to support patients across various health needs through innovative pharmacy engagement programs.
- Incorporate healthcare professional engagement priorities into annual business planning processes and customer growth strategies.
- Partner with clinical and medical stakeholders to translate scientific insights into practical recommendations for pharmacy professionals.
- Build portfolio-wide engagement strategies that encourage healthcare professionals to recommend appropriate health solutions across multiple patient needs.
- Stay informed on evolving pharmacy practices, prescribing authority, and patient care advancements to ensure engagement approaches remain relevant and impactful.
- Explore opportunities to integrate products and services into pharmacy technologies, prescribing platforms, and decision-support systems through collaboration with industry stakeholders and technology partners.
Pharmacy Conferences & Industry Events
- Lead the planning and execution of key pharmacy conferences, professional events, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal commercial teams to maximize event impact and business outcomes.
- Define performance metrics to measure event effectiveness, audience engagement, reach, and return on investment.
- Continuously optimize event strategies based on insights and performance results.
Partnership Programs & Activation
- Develop and manage annual healthcare professional partnership programs with pharmacy organizations and strategic retail partners.
- Design scalable engagement initiatives that enhance pharmacist education, patient support, and brand advocacy.
- Establish clear success metrics and regularly assess program performance to drive continuous improvement and stronger results.
Professional Education Programs
- Identify knowledge gaps and educational opportunities for pharmacists and pharmacy teams.
- Collaborate with medical, scientific, and educational experts to develop compliant and impactful learning initiatives.
- Support the delivery of accredited educational programs and professional development opportunities.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through defined performance measures and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or commercial healthcare environments.
- Proven experience developing and executing healthcare professional engagement programs within pharmacy, healthcare, or retail settings.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and French are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare professional marketing, pharmacy operations, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships, external vendors, and complex programs.
- Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in KPI development, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
