Role Overview
Lead healthcare professional (HCP) engagement strategy and execution across retail pharmacy partnerships. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with priority pharmacy customers, expanding pharmacist engagement, and developing programs that support patient care and commercial growth.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and external partners, the role will drive pharmacy education, strategic partnerships, conference engagement, and integrated portfolio initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HCP engagement strategies across priority retail pharmacy customers.
- Integrate pharmacy engagement into annual joint business plans, aligning customer objectives with brand priorities.
- Identify opportunities to support pharmacist-led care pathways and cross-portfolio recommendations.
- Lead retail pharmacy conferences, industry events, and partnership activations.
- Develop annual calendars of pharmacist-facing programs across priority retailers and healthcare needs.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Medical Education teams to deliver relevant, compliant educational initiatives.
- Establish KPIs to measure engagement, reach, program effectiveness, and return on investment.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with pharmacy stakeholders, vendors, and technology providers.
- Use market insights and performance data to optimize programs and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial roles.
- Demonstrated experience delivering HCP engagement or activation programs within retail pharmacy.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Strong understanding of HCP marketing, pharmacy operations, and the healthcare ecosystem.
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Experience managing complex partnerships and vendor relationships.
- Strong analytical, project management, and financial skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
