Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret business data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from relational databases.
- Develop data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities using Power Query and other relevant tools.
- Create and maintain business reports, KPI dashboards, and performance monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify business trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Automate recurring reports and streamline reporting processes.
- Present analytical findings and actionable insights to management and stakeholders.
- Maintain proper documentation of dashboards, reports, data models, and business logic.
Required Technical Skills
- SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL queries, Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Views, Stored Procedures, and Window Functions.
- Power BI: Expertise in dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report publishing.
- Microsoft Excel: Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and data analysis.
- Data Visualization: Ability to present complex data through meaningful charts, reports, and dashboards.
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehouses, relational databases, and ETL processes.
- Statistics: Basic knowledge of statistical concepts, data interpretation, and analytical methods.
- Python: Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is an added advantage.
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
