Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Debug applications, identify defects, and implement fixes.
- Perform unit testing and participate in integration and system testing.
- Collaborate with QA teams to resolve software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Use Git and version-control practices for source-code management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Contribute to application security, scalability, and performance improvements.
- Stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and software-development practices.
Required Technical Skills
Programming Languages
- One or more of: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, or PHP.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Frontend Development
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React, Angular, or Vue.js - depending on project requirements
Backend Development
- Java / Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Python/Django/FastAPI, or equivalent.
- REST API development
- Authentication and authorization
- Microservices fundamentals
Database
- SQL
- MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle
- Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.
Development Tools
- Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket
- Visual Studio Code / IntelliJ IDEA / Visual Studio or equivalent
- Postman or similar API testing tools
Cloud & DevOps – Preferred
- AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud
- Docker
