Spatial is looking for a motivated, ambitious, highly driven Surveying & Geomatics Solutions Specialist to join our team. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for surveying, technology, connecting with people and communicating technical information then this may be the position for you. If you know your way around robotic and manual total stations, GNSS and positioning tools and have a passion for geomatics and surveying we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and support an expanding customer base within the surveying and geomatics industry.
- Achieve sales and profitability targets within a designated territory.
- Manage the full sales process, including prospecting, quoting, forecasting, and account management.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales pipeline performance, forecasts, and growth strategies.
- Demonstrate how surveying, positioning, and geomatics technologies improve accuracy, productivity, and profitability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions and exceptional customer support.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service, technical expertise, and attention to detail.
Required Experiences
- Experience selling technical products, equipment, software, or solutions, preferably within geomatics, surveying, engineering, or geospatial technology.
- Strong understanding of surveying & geomatics workflows with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers.
- Ability to prospect, develop new accounts, manage sales pipeline and close opportunities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech-savvy with a passion for learning and promoting innovative geomatic technologies.
- Skilled negotiator with a collaborative mindset and team spirit.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, demonstrating creativity, leadership, and adaptability.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience
- Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma or degree.
- Experience with GNSS/GPS, Total Stations, surveying software or positioning technologies is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with Leica Geosystems technologies is considered an asset
