OVERVIEW
Mode is seeking a self-starter with a proven track record of success to join our team as a Product Specialist, Vehicle Replacement Insurance. Combining product expertise, broker education, and claims support, this role will focus on delivering engaging virtual product training to our broker partners while helping ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time through strong communication, documentation, and workflow management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to quality, integrity, and customer service.
This is an in-office position based in our Abbotsford, BC office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will:
- Schedule, develop and deliver product knowledge and sales training sessions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with brokers and internal teams.
- Create, monitor, and maintain sales reporting for brokers and dealer clients.
- Administrative duties such as managing a shared inbox and marketing inventory levels.
- Assisting with the development and management of sales contests.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
You’re a good fit if you have:
- Hold and maintain a valid Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License. Level 2 preferred.
- Level 2 license is required within 6 months of start date.
- Willing to obtain and hold insurance licenses in multiple provinces.
- 2+ years’ experience working in the auto insurance industry.
- Understanding of the dealer environment is an asset.
- Training experience is an asset.
- Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel to various brokers and dealers, including multi-day trips.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent customer service knowledge and skills.
- Highly self-motivated individual who is capable of working both independently, without supervision, and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.

SALARY RANGE
The expected salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
