Stacktics Inc. is seeking a candidate for a full-time Senior Media Intelligence Specialist (Ad Tagging & Tracking) role.
This is an on-site role. The successful candidate will be embedded with one of Stacktics' enterprise clients and is expected to work from the client's office in downtown Toronto, Ontario, working directly alongside the client's marketing team and media agency partners.
The primary responsibility of this role is to own third-party ad tagging end-to-end across the client's full advertising stack: Google Ads, CM360, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and other ad platforms. You will be the client's go-to person for tag setup in Google Tag Manager (including server-side tracking), QA, ongoing monitoring and fast fixes, ensuring tracking on live campaigns is accurate and that any breaks are caught and resolved quickly.
As part of Stacktics' Marketing Analytics Team, you will work directly alongside the client's marketing team and media agency partners, taking tagging pressure off them so campaigns launch on time. This position calls for self-sufficient, hands-on work within Stacktics' and the client's established processes, and for explaining tracking issues and fixes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Role-specific responsibilities
- Own third-party ad tagging end-to-end implementation across Google Ads, CM360 (Floodlight), Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and other ad platforms as they are added to the media plan
- Build, configure and maintain tags, triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager (web and server-side containers), working from the client's data layer and tracking plans
- Set up and maintain server-side tracking (server-side GTM), including platform conversion APIs (e.g., Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API, Snapchat CAPI, Reddit CAPI, Pinterest API for Conversions) and Google Ads enhanced conversions
- Perform thorough QA on all new and updated tags before and after launch, using tools such as GTM Preview mode, Google Tag Assistant, platform pixel helper extensions, platform event managers, browser extensions that support platform specific pixel helpers, event managers and browser developer tools.
- Monitor tracking on live campaigns on an ongoing basis, catching tag breaks, drops in conversion volume and data discrepancies early
- Troubleshoot and fix tracking issues quickly, prioritizing by campaign impact, and communicate root cause and resolution to stakeholders
- Take tagging requests from the client's media agency partners, turn them into clear implementation tickets, and deliver against campaign launch timelines
- Ensure tags respect the client's consent management setup (e.g., Google Consent Mode, CMP integration) and privacy requirements
- Create and maintain tagging documentation: tag inventories, naming conventions, tracking plans, QA checklists and change logs
- Work with the client's web developers and IT/security teams on data layer changes, site releases and tag governance approvals
Company-Wide Responsibilities:
- Represent Stacktics professionally while embedded on-site with the client team
- Maintain and exceed client satisfaction with Stacktics' deliverables, day-to-day work, and overall value as a partner
- Adapt to the client’s priorities and expectations
- Maintain client satisfaction and happiness with deliverables, day-to-day work, and overall value as a partner
- Help identify, pitch, cultivate, prepare and deliver material as needed for new business and business development initiatives.

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Media Operations
- Minimum 2 years of client service experience, ideally in an agency environment; experience supporting large brands alongside their media agencies is an asset
- Deep, hands-on tagging expertise in Google Marketing Platform (CM360, DV360, SA360) and the major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit), including setting up each platform's conversion tracking: pixels, conversion APIs, CM360 Floodlights and Google Ads enhanced conversions. This is the core requirement; GA4 / web analytics knowledge alone is not sufficient
- Advanced experience implementing ad platform tags in Google Tag Manager (where this client's tags are hosted), across both web and server-side containers
