Human Resource Manager - Belleville, ON
$115,000 -145,000 + discretionary bonus
We're looking for an HR Manager who leads with both strategy and care.
You'll own the full HR function, from hiring great people to supporting them through every stage of their time here while managing a team of HR generalists and recruiters. This is a role for someone who sees HR as a lever for organizational health, not just a compliance function.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of HR generalists and recruiters, setting priorities, developing their skills, and building a function the rest of the organization trusts and relies on.
- Own talent acquisition end-to-end - partnering with hiring managers, managing recruiter workflows through your ATS, and ensuring a candidate experience that reflects well on the company.
- Be the go-to for employee relations - handling sensitive matters with sound judgment, consistency, and empathy.
- Drive HR operations - HRIS administration, payroll coordination, policy communication, and benefits - with accuracy and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Use data to spot trends, surface insights, and make the case for process changes that improve the employee experience.
- Lead through change - communicating clearly, building trust, and helping employees navigate transitions.
What You Bring
Required:
- Proven HR management experience across recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations
- Fast paced manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience supervising and developing HR staff
- Strong judgment in handling sensitive employee matters
- Clear written and verbal communication, you can explain a policy change without making it feel like a legal notice
Preferred:
- Experience with change management and organizational initiatives
- Hands-on work with ATS platforms and HRIS systems (Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar)
- Background in process improvement, data analysis, or budgeting
Why It Matters
The people on your team will be the first call an employee makes when something goes wrong and the reason a great candidate says yes. You set the standard for how that goes.
