About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our client's team on a temporary basis and support multiple active recruitment needs.
The successful candidate will manage the recruitment process from sourcing and screening candidates through interview coordination, reference checks, and offer support. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on recruiter who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships with hiring leaders and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and post job openings on Indeed
- Source candidates through various recruitment channels
- Review resumes and applications
- Conduct initial phone interviews and candidate screening
- Identify and recommend qualified candidates
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Administer assessments
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Follow up with hiring managers regarding interview feedback and next steps
- Coordinate reference and background checks
- Support offer coordination and hiring documentation
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking
- Close postings and communicate with unsuccessful candidates
- Manage multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities
- Provide regular updates to hiring leaders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on recruitment experience
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment
- Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills
- Experience managing multiple positions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience recruiting both frontline and professional positions is an asset
- Automotive recruitment experience is an asset but not required
