Stafingo is hiring for its client and is seeking experienced Senior IT Project Managers to lead strategic technology initiatives across a diverse portfolio of public-sector programs.
This is a long-term opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager with strong experience delivering complex IT initiatives involving business transformation, application modernization, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and digital services.
Position Details
Location: Regina, SK – 100% Onsite
Contract: November 2, 2026 – November 1, 2028
Extension: Up to 2 additional years
Pay Range: $80.00/hr T4 – $100.00/hr INC
Number of Roles: At client's discretion

Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 required
Availability: Full-time, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology projects from initial planning through implementation, transition, and final closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, deliverables, dependencies, risks, quality, and financial requirements.
- Establish effective project governance, decision-making processes, reporting structures, and accountability mechanisms.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure project activities remain aligned with approved objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Work closely with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, service providers, and senior stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate executive meetings, steering committees, workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Develop clear executive-level reporting covering project progress, milestones, financial performance, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and corrective actions.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, and impacts, escalating matters as needed.
- Coordinate organizational change activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, impact analysis, readiness planning, training, and adoption.
- Manage project resources and support resource planning to ensure appropriate skills and capacity are available throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate third-party vendors and service providers, monitoring deliverables, timelines, performance, dependencies, and contractual commitments.
- Manage project changes to scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Ensure project documentation and deliverables meet applicable organizational standards, technical requirements, governance expectations, and quality controls.
- Facilitate collaboration across related initiatives and coordinate project interdependencies and integration points.
- Maintain effective relationships with sponsors, executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and other project participants.
- Apply recognized project management practices to maintain consistent and controlled delivery across the portfolio.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned, delivery opportunities, and improvements to project processes and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory.
- Significant experience leading complex IT projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
- Strong experience working with senior executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external service providers.
- Experience establishing and managing project governance and steering committee structures.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Experience delivering technology initiatives such as application modernization, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data/analytics, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a complex organizational environment.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies, governance, controls, and documentation.
