ABOUT THE JOB
Stagevision began in 1984 as a local AV company with a big vision: to transform the way people experience events. Four decades later, we’re a proudly Canadian-owned audiovisual and live-event production company, trusted by leading organizations to bring their most ambitious events to life with technical expertise, creativity and care.
In 2026, The Globe and Mail named Stagevision one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies. That recognition reflects the trust our clients place in us, the strength of our team and the quality of the work we deliver every day – and we’re just getting started.
Any Media. Any Audience. Anywhere.
We’re looking for a Production Manager to be the driving force behind our live events – the person who turns a client’s vision into a show that runs flawlessly.
Sitting at the intersection of Sales and Operations and working hand in hand with our Production Coordinator, you’ll own your assigned events from first quote to final reconciliation: shaping the scope, planning the logistics, leading the crew on show day and closing out every detail after the lights go down. If you thrive on solving complex problems under pressure, love the energy of a live room and take pride in delivering shows on time, on budget and beyond expectations, this is your stage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pre-Production
- Partner with the Account Manager and Sales team to review Scope of Work, with a focus on job profitability and margin management
- Maintain accurate and complete project records in IntelliEvent, ensuring proposal data is properly categorized and reviewed with the Account Manager
- Attend site visits to gather technical and logistical requirements necessary for project planning
- Develop production drawings and floor plans, confirming accuracy of scale, rigging, and room logistics; coordinate amendments as needed
- Verify show site details including dock access, rigging points, riser configurations, room access, and fire marshal plan approval
- Be the central point of contact between the client, Sales and Operations, keeping information flowing smoothly through the Production Coordinator
- Respond to client inquiries as needed, gathering requirements and coordinating follow-up with the Account Manager
- Collaborate with the Production Coordinator to verify all ordered equipment is accurate and available
- Lead pre-production meetings with Show Leads prior to load-out
- Develop the show logistics plan in coordination with the Logistics Manager and Production Coordinator, including load sequences and transportation
On-Site/Production
- Take the lead on site as the senior production authority when required, overseeing every technical and logistical element of the show
- Lead and direct all crew – both Stagevision staff and local labour – ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and to standard
- Oversee technical production elements including system design integrity, signal flow, and equipment performance
- Monitor show-day timelines and proactively resolve scheduling, technical, or logistical issues as they arise
- Champion quality assurance across all production disciplines and departments
- Be a calm, professional and solution-oriented presence for clients on site
Post-Show
- Confirm the accuracy of all billables prior to invoicing, including labour reconciliation and equipment usage
- Review overpacked gear for future show planning and inventory awareness
- Document show notes and lessons learned to support continuous improvement across the production team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of progressive experience in live events, audiovisual production or event technology, including meaningful client-facing experience.
- Strong practical understanding of live-event production and audiovisual solutions, including scope, feasibility, equipment, labour, logistics and how technical decisions affect cost and execution.
- Post-secondary education is an asset; meaningful industry experience is valued equally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with AV equipment and event workflows is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Proactive and solution-focused
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
WHAT WE OFFER
- Annual salary range of $85,000–$100,000
- Room to grow with one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies
- A collaborative, innovative team that loves what it does
- Hands-on work with cutting-edge audiovisual technology
- Ongoing professional development and clear paths for advancement
- The chance to learn from – and work alongside – industry leaders
