Role Description: The Network Communication Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the GTA, responsible for overseeing end-to-end planning and delivery of communication and network infrastructure projects. This role coordinates project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with client requirements, safety standards, and technical specifications. The Network Communication Project Manager leads cross-functional communication among internal teams, contractors, and client stakeholders, prepares project documentation, and provides regular status updates and risk assessments. Daily activities include organizing project meetings, tracking milestones, resolving issues, and supporting seamless integration of communication systems within electrical projects. The role also supports continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes, refining processes, and contributing to strategic communication plans that enhance stakeholder engagement and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong general Communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience overseeing network, communication, or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in Strategic Communications to align project messaging with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Experience in Internal Communications to coordinate updates, meetings, and information flow across project teams.
- Professional Writing skills for creating reports, proposals, project plans, and stakeholder communications.
- Knowledge of electrical or communication systems, cabling, and network infrastructure is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety practices within electrical and communication environments.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software, and strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, communications, project management, or a related field is an asset.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and maintain a focus on safety and quality.
