We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Junior/Intermediate Change Manager to support multiple strategic IT and business transformation initiatives for one of our Lower Mainland clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling user adoption and engagement through thoughtful planning, clear communication, and impactful training. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support project adoption across 2–3 concurrent initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, end users, and stakeholders to forecast training needs, identify readiness gaps, and manage process triage.
- Create clear, user-friendly documentation and performance support tools tailored to various audiences across technical and non-technical teams.
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and design communication plans to support smooth transitions and minimize resistance to change.
- Monitor change adoption metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure long-term project sustainability and employee engagement.
- Participate in onsite user training and support activities at key locations, occasionally including onboard marine vessels.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in change management, learning and development, or a related field, ideally within medium-to-large scale transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to interact with end users and operational staff while also supporting technical teams and project leadership.
- Strong documentation/written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into simple, actionable steps.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies and working within a project-driven environment.
- Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) is preferred but not required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel locally for training and stakeholder engagement
Rate: $45-55 per/hour
12 month contract
Onsite 5 days per week
